National Children's Dental Health Month
February is National Children's Dental Health Month.
It's sponsored each year by the American Dental Association (ADA) to
raise awareness among families about the critical
importance of good oral health care in children. This year marks the 60th anniversary for the Children's Dental Health Month.
Dr. Shearer and her dental team took part in spreading the importance of dental health in children by having a day devoted to kids 13 and under. We decorated the place with balloons, had kids music and movies, and had their pictures taken with the tooth fairy. We'd like to thank the Chattanooga Times Free Press for helping us to get the word out. We had 42 kids! A great turn-out! We hope to make this a bi-annual event.
